My niece and nephews were glued to the TV watching the cartoon, "Sanjay and Craig", while I worked on my laptop. I heard a line from the cartoon that made me laugh. Apparently, the kids had lost a balloon and went in search of it and while the search was on, one of the kids screamed out: "Where are you?" My friend set out on a trip from Ibadan to Abuja. But as they boarded, they were informed the aircraft will make a detour to Ilorin, to drop off some passengers then head for Abuja. It sounded okay since they will be heading for Abuja as planned but little did they know that things will turn out differently.  *This taught a major lesson - Only GOD knows how each day will end, that is why it is paramount that we trust Him and involve Him in our day to day plans ....back to the story They arrived the airport at Ilorin by 1:15 in the afternoon, waited on board the plane for over 30 mins, after which they were asked to disembark....  *For what???", I can imagine my friend saying* Well, they disembarked and that was how the waiting began....... ....and that takes me to "Waiting"  Waiting is not always easy..whether waiting on a queue or a job, a child, a promotion, an estranged partner or a partner at all, none is easy. *Everyone in life goes ...

A Turn Around

As we drove down to Church to mark dad's one year anniversary, I got lost in thoughts. I went from wishing things were different and that dad had stayed longer to really enjoy the fruit of his labour; the results of the amazing seeds he had sown in our lives.  As my mind drifted to the conversation we had the Christmas before he went home, I heard my little Nephew Semiloore singing "Olowogboro is turning things around". Apparently he had been singing that line over and over that my elder sister had to call him Nathaniel Bassey Junior but because I was lost in thought,  I didn't hear him until GOD made me hear what he was singing. When I heard it, it hit me; It was evident that GOD was telling me everything will be okay.... indeed out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies GOD has prepared and provided praise.
