Seat Belt Palava
It was a really busy day, I had been working all morning and well into the afternoon and I really needed a break. Just as I was pondering how to cool off a bit to rest and refresh my mind, a colleague of mine, who we will call lady KAS, came by and stated she was heading out. I asked her where she was heading to, and if it wasn’t too far, so that I could go with her. Gladly, it was just 15 minutes away. We got into the car and got gisting. As we drove out, I noticed the seat belt alarm was blaring; meaning someone wasn’t using her seat belt. I turned to her and said, ‘You need to wear your seat belt’. She looked at me puzzled, so I stressed it again, ‘Wear your seat belt!’. She smiled and said, ‘I’m wearing my seat belt’. Then I looked and saw that I was the guilty one!... and together we burst out laughing.
