Inspirational Matters with Yspot!

Quick Sand Quicksand consists of fine sand or silt, clay and water. When water cannot escape from the soil, it creates liquefied soil that loses strength and cannot support weight. I had an experience with quick sand back at A.B.U. Na GOD save me. You see back then we went for picnics close to the dam. On this special it was a picnic organised for the choristers. We had finished and were heading back for the school area but decided to have a good view of the dam. I and a friend happen to have gone too close for a good view. Next thing I knew was that I was gradually decreasing in height (ahhh it wasn’t funny oh), my friend couldn’t help ‘cos she was also decreasing in height…lol. Fortunately for us, some members noticed and came to our rescue….thank GOD for able bodied men jare, I for enter soil finish that day. This exactly what happens when we put out trust in men. They can do their best but they will most likely let you down. Even GOD says we should trust no man not

Hi guys Last time we were in the ancient town of badagry. Today we will be travelling to a small country on the coastline of Africa popularly called the smiling coast of Africa. Guys we are still in West Africa, not to worry we will leave this part of Africa soon.  Join me as we take a vacation trip to Gambia, are u ready, ok let's head there. Visitors to  Gambia can look forward to not just a blaze of greens and tropical flowering trees in the summer, an ornithologist's paradise, a country rich in history and ethnic diversity, but to the development of ecotourism, watersports and deep sea fishing, all of this, of course, with a smile.  GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE Gambia is 180 miles long, but only 21 miles wide, and follows the course of the River Gambia as it meanders west through mangrove swamps, bamboo forests, and salt flats, to the capital city Banjul, which is located along the 30-mile stretch of Atlantic coast. On Yspot! today it's Health Matters with Lawrence Jimoh

What a great honour it is to have Lawrence Jimoh in the house. He has a Masters of Public Health in Environmental Health- very loaded I’d say. When it comes to environmental Health, I tell he's the guy to talk to. Well today, we are privilege to have him talk to us. Stay put as he tells us the effect of noise on the hearing ability. After reading this I’m so sure we will give our ears the needed care and attention and do our best to reduce our exposure to all forms of noise. Enjoy! In a sustainable development submit held in Ibadan a professor blurted out that by nature Nigerians are very noisy because it is supported by their culture. If this is true, it implies that the prevalence of hearing impairment is higher in Nigeria compared to other countries whose culture does not support noise and have functional policies to tackle noise problems. Below are some effects of noise to health Ø   Hearing loss
