His plans will amaze you, just be patient



Dara: Aunty Tope, what am I taking to School today?
Myself: Beans, I replied. Just so I could hear her response
Dara: Yuck
Myself: You said what?
Dara: Disgusting she responded

 I burst into laughter. Dara is just 5 years old, so I was amazed she was giving me these amazing responses.

 "Yuck" "Disgusting"

 All these expressions for the protein-given beans...lol. By the way, I heard not too long that beans is now considered a carbohydrate-given food. Well,  whether protein or carbs, the fact remains that beans has nutrients to offer man.

 Dara's reaction got me thinking though. I tried to recall scenarios where GOD had given me opportunities that didn't seem like it and I responded in a similar way like Dara did.

 GOD is indeed patient. He gives us what is perfect for us per time but because we can't see all He has planned we respond in amazing ways.

 Responses like "For real, is this it?", "GOD, why?", "GOD, do you really love me? "

 I actually made rice for Dara that morning and was just teasing. She was excited when she found out. GOD has big plans for you too. Sometimes it just doesn't look like it but stay tuned as He unfolds the bigger picture. The Bible says "they were like them that dreamt".

 As you crossover into a new month, get set to be amazed by GOD. Be expectant!

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. I walked to the counter when it was my turn to submit my documents. The lady I met, looked at me, and asked: “when are you to travel?” I replied “Sunday”. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with. Those were the days I had relied heavily on my big sister in order to dress stylishly. To me, she could do no wrong; she was the “koko”. Now I’m not saying she wasn’t (she still is) all that, but I came to realize on time that I couldn’t run to my sister every time I had to baff up.
