Celebrating our Mothers!!!

Hey peeps! How are we all doing? I have been missing in action for a while now, had to battle the winds of malaria and address the rigors of unpredictable sudden changes *smiles*.

The last episode of the love series will soon be out but for today we are celebrating all our mothers and mothers to be out there!

Mum!

For the times you held me close to suck
For the times you fed me
For the times you bathed and clothed me
For the times you changed my pampers, for some of us napkins

For the times you wiped my tears with the back of your hands

For the times you encouraged me as I took my first steps

For the bedtime time stories you read to me
For the times you rocked me to sleep and gave me a goodnight kiss 

For the times you dragged me out of bed just to make it to school early
For the times you took me to see father Christmas *wink*
Those times when you held me as I rode my bicycle
Those times when you helped me arrange my lego and other toys
Those times when you helped wear my slippers correctly and not the criss-cross way I used to wear it back then
For being by my side on my first day at school
For those times you came to pick me from school, just to see who my friends were
For the times you corrected me with your words and your hands*smiles* though i felt your hands were hard back then but I discovered there is love in mummy's hands

For the times you cautioned me when I first made up
For the times you gave me that look when you first saw me talk to a guy
Those times you told me out of love that I'll get pregnant if a guy touches me (lol)
Those times when I made my first meal
For the times you called to ask how I was doing, when truly you wanted to be sure I was where I was supposed to be
For the times you asked 'where are you going to' and 'where are you coming from' with a stern look that had care written all over it
For the look I see on your face whenever I arrive home from a journey
And the look you had when I brought my guy home, a hard look but I could see the loving heart behind the look
I remember the look on your face as I walked down the aisle
I recall the joy on your face when the kids started coming in, the joy of becoming a grandmother

and most importantly for all the prayers you prayed and you are still praying

for all the encouragements, the pat on the back and the hugs

I just want to say I APPRECIATE YOU!!!

I recall all those times and anticipate more of such times and from my heart I want to say THANK YOU for being there all the way! You are the best and I Celebrate you big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s short abi? Lol!!! It’s actually for the mothers, you know they are busy and I didn’t want to take their time.......smiles!!!
