Celebrating my Family








I'm glad to be a part of the family that I found myself in *wink*
They didn't choose me neither did I choose them
The perfect Father placed me in the perfect family
For that I take a bow to you Lord!

I grew amongst the best 7
Dad, mum, 2 amazing big sisters and 3 wonderful big brothers
They laid a foundation that I couldn't help but build on
I look back today and I'm led to thank you all so very much*smiles*
For choosing and sticking with GOD before I arrived
For creating an atmosphere of love that I could thrive in
For imbibing the best of values that stands people out
For showing and teaching me the right paths to take
For the culture of reading that I observed as I grew 
For the corrections and discipline
For not sparing the rod *lol*
For allowing me be myself
For coping with the annoying side of me
For laughing at me and laughing with me 
For cheering me on when the need arose
For teaching me to pray
For lending a helping hand always
And for the times we still have together
And for so many other things not mentioned
I just want to say thank you
And to let you all know I appreciate you all so much
For these seeds and others that you have sown into my life
I pray for an immeasurable harvest of GOD's goodness

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. I walked to the counter when it was my turn to submit my documents. The lady I met, looked at me, and asked: “when are you to travel?” I replied “Sunday”. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with. Those were the days I had relied heavily on my big sister in order to dress stylishly. To me, she could do no wrong; she was the “koko”. Now I’m not saying she wasn’t (she still is) all that, but I came to realize on time that I couldn’t run to my sister every time I had to baff up. I had to come to terms with the fact that I was my own person and I needed to develop my own style. It wasn’t instant success o and yes, I am still perfecting the art (it’s a process). I did make 1 or 2 flops (ok maybe 3….ok ok…more than 3), but this issue of style became effortless when I decided to try the “inside-out” approach…
