GOD can use anyone

















When I meet with children who have read the YCD (Yspot’s Children Devotional), I get really excited and grateful that I kept at it even when I had no idea what GOD was up to. 

Well, the first thing I ask the kids is to tell me 3 animals they can remember from the devotional. I get different types of answers....laughing. Some would say, a Cat, a Monkey or some just go beaming with mischievous smiles. I laugh because the current edition contains animals whose names begin with the alphabet A and B. So when the kids go calling different animals..cats, monkey and etc. I just go laughing because I know those animals cannot be found in the devotional.



 





Some kids have done well but Toluwanimi was exceptionally different. I spoke with Toluwanimi over the phone and not only did you mention the very first animal in the book...Aardvark which others and even some adults find difficult to pronounce, she mentioned a host of others and further went on to ask when the next edition (CD) will be ready. That was the wakeup call I had been praying for. I am almost done completing the next edition but I have been dragging my feet but that conversation with Toluwanimi got me fired up. It was a timely wake up call. You never know who and what GOD would use to get you sprinting.

Lessons learnt

- GOD can use anyone to speak to you, to get your attention, to lift your spirit, to rekindle the flame, to show you the way and to make you hasten up.
It doesn’t matter how big or how little
It doesn’t matter who, where, when
It might be a passing statement or even something said jokingly

- You have to keep the dream alive...keep it ever before you and don't let it slip out of your hands

- Never give up...Someone out there somewhere is being blessed by what you are doing. Even when it seems like there is no substantial result yet....Keep tilling, keep sowing, keep watering...your reward is sure

- Keep extending your hands, keep stretching and keep reaching out until you reach those you were sent to. 

- GOD sees your heart and He knows just how to soothe your heart at the right time.

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with.
