Be at rest... GOD has you covered

 








At the office, we got into a conversation with my friends about how lady M had the qualities that made her a true Nigerian because she comes from the northern part of Nigeria, got married to someone from the East, and is slightly fluent in the major Western language. We jokingly asked what tribe her son will get married to, and she said he will most likely get married to a Canadian woman. We burst into laughter 😂 and told her she had her son's life all planned out already.


And I heard the small gentle voice say: If a mother has her son's future and life planned, how much more me your GOD?


It hit me...😭

It is not that I do not know that GOD has it all perfectly planned out but sometimes we look around, and you be wondering and asking "Where is my capable daddy?"😟


Well, I think this is because we want to know all that GOD has planned for us all at once. However, GOD doesn't work that way. He unveils it as at when He deems fit. Sometimes this happens gradually🐌, and at other times, it happens suddenly🚀


A mother will do all she can to ensure her child has the best. Even though she might be limited to a great extent by situations and circumstances of life, still, she stretches and does what she can and even much more🙆


GOD, on the other hand, is in no way limited💪. He does not wait for a stipend or a monthly salary to take care of you, nope... He clothes the lilies and feeds the birds, and He will do much more for you who He loves and sent His son to die for💝


It reminds me of what my dad used to say:

He says the drivers who travel by night have to do so, and that is because as they travel beneath the moonlight, they accidentally hit stray or bush animals, and by morning the ants, birds of the air, and other animals have their food ready and waiting. GOD is so wonderful, and He has everything figured out. He will never leave you stranded. He has plans for you...and you can bet they will be plans that exceed your expectations.

I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jer. 29:11(MSG).

No matter what you can see happening, that unseen thing that GOD is gradually unveiling will not only amaze you but make you weep for joy.


Be at rest, GOD has you covered and the month of April will confirm this.

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. I walked to the counter when it was my turn to submit my documents. The lady I met, looked at me, and asked: “when are you to travel?” I replied “Sunday”. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with. Those were the days I had relied heavily on my big sister in order to dress stylishly. To me, she could do no wrong; she was the “koko”. Now I’m not saying she wasn’t (she still is) all that, but I came to realize on time that I couldn’t run to my sister every time I had to baff up.
