How God shocked me

Hey Fam,

I trust we are doing great!

Today I will be sharing one of the many ways I have seen GOD at work in my life.

2015…

I finally got to publish the first edition of the Yspot Children’s devotional (YCD). I began writing the devotional 2 years back, and it was great to see the finished product. I was excited about the lives that would be impacted by it.

*We are an embodiment of grace and it is our duty to impact lives with the gifts we are endowed with

Well, I needed to print more copies and decided to reach out to friends and loved ones for support. I had just moved to Abuja and was getting used to life in the beautiful city๐Ÿ˜ƒ. I was amazed at the level of support GOD sent my way. I printed more copies with the money I was blessed with.

One of the best gifts to have is the gift of men; individuals who are there to give you a push and support you when needed

Fast Forward to 2016…

My cousin went into the bank to make some transactions. I stood by her car having a conversation with GOD quietly in my head abi mind๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Conversations with GOD can be that simple…in the quietness of the moment, going back and forth with the One who is always ready to listen, and who is glad when we listen

So, I stood there telling GOD to show up in a big way, after all He can, abi not…lol.

Have you ever been at this point? Where you know with all your heart that GOD can do what you desire just by snapping His fingers, but it just seems like He has another plan

Well, I sha reminded Him of things He had done in the past and how great He is, as per I was obeying the verse that says we should put Him to remembrance and bring forth our strong reasons. When we arrived home, I left my phone in the room and went to help out in the kitchen. When we were done, I went to the room and picked up my phone, only to see an alert of N250,000. I looked and looked to be certain. I ran to my cousin to confirm๐Ÿ˜‚

It amazes me how GOD answers sincerely because sometimes He answers the most silent of all whispers, you just think it and He answers. At other times, despite all the prayers and gbogbo e(everything), it just seems your voice didn’t pass the ceiling๐Ÿ˜‚

It all proves He is GOD

I didn’t know who sent it until midnight. Apparently, it was one my friends responding to the BC I had sent months back for support to print more copies of the devotional.

Hmm The answer may not come when you desire, but be certain that it will come

My cousin was shocked and said I need to ask to be sure it wasn’t N25,000 she meant to send.  Maybe the last Zero jumped in while she was typing? I did oh, and she laughed and said no, she only obeyed GOD.  That statement got me crying. I cried and cried. I was dazed for weeks, not just at the amount but at the extent to which GOD went to show me he heard me and the fact that I mattered to Him.

GOD might seem to be the big man who lives upstairs and also in our hearts but His love for us cannot be measured or comprehended. Life throws many things our way that we scarcely can see the extent to which He loves us. GOD loves you, never forget that, let that be your focus rather than the many issues that pop up in our lives

I eventually got to print the number of copies I really wanted to

I wrote this to encourage someone. GOD has heard you, the answer is coming. Perhaps you are saying, you have waited and waited for the answer. Don’t let your faith waver; the answer will come and it will shock you, like I was๐Ÿ˜Š.

I pray we all have a beautiful month filled with reminders from GOD that overwhelms us with the Father’s love๐Ÿ’œ

Yspot!
