The Master piece show off
The Master piece show off
I watched an Indian movie where the
storyline had to do with the approval and acceptance of a robot into the Indian
army. The inventor of the robot was given an opportunity to showcase and show
off his robot within a specified period. During the first trail, the robot did quite
well but his approval was denied ‘cos he didn't have feelings and the emotions
of love, anger, sadness and empathy like humans.
On the second trial he had acquired the
feelings based on what his inventor
exposed him to, just that this time around the robot didn't only have the human
feelings he was expected to have, but he had even falling in love with his maker’s
fiancée, serious thing…. As the trail began he went all out singing praises of
the lady. His inventor was shocked by his invention and the supervisors’ definitely
didn't approve of him. A poet in the army will do the army no good, his words
could only be used for battles where the lady’s heart was concerned but not right
for the kind of battle he was made to fight. He actually didn't meet his makers’
expectations and was destroyed by him out of anger. You can imagine all the
energy and the time invested into the robot and when his opportunity came, he
dashed it failing to live true to his design.
Manufacturers and inventors show off
their inventions. They know the capacity of their inventions; they know what
the inventions can and cannot do. God desires to show us off also, you know,
like the inventor in the movie. He has invested too much in us and meeting his
expectation is our duty. Being true to our design is what our maker expects of
us. We can do anything via his strength, whatever he can we can but he can only
do through us what our capacity allows him. He can do more when we create space
for more.
Why do you think he placed us on earth?
You definitely can’t create or produce or invent something and keep it
hidden….nope, you made it for a reason and will derive satisfaction when it
fulfills its reason for being made. He made us to show us off to the world and to
light the world via the giftings in has placed in us. We were designed
specifically to meet specific needs. We are his masterpiece and our capacity is
limitless. He expects us to shock and daze the world as he showcases us off at
our respective stands be it music, writing, fashion, marketing, politics,
whatever. We shouldn't be satisfied with status quo. We should give our best and
thrive to meet the expectations of our maker and our on lookers, stopping only
when our mission here is Complete!
As we go about our daily activities let’s be conscious
that GOD is showing we his master pieces off from our respective stands and
like the peacock, let’s flaunt our beauty and color the world……..wink*
it's show time..........................
