Stretch, don't get comfortable

 








We sat down as we reminisced on the things we had achieved so far, it was encouraging to see that the things we had desired over the past few years were eventually coming to be. Mind you, these things did not just happen because we desired them, nope, they happened due to consistency, hard work and of course the backing of Abba.

 

I know sometimes, even after all the consistency and hard work, nothing seems to be happening, don’t give up, keep at it.

 

And even when it seems all is happening as you planned, don’t get too comfortable, and refuse to settle, stretch, do more, and grow.

 

I watched my dad give his best in everything. I remember his consistency at getting to work early and getting things done. He was aimed for the top and he got there.

 

Getting to the place you desire will require more from you ; discipline, hunger to learn and commitment to doing things excellently.

 

There is more to you than this. stretch

It's in you, figure it out...

Some days ago, I was singing the song "I know my redeemer lives" by Nicole Mullen. As I sang the first line of the song; "who taught the sun where to stand in the morning..." the words hit me and it felt like I was hearing the words of the line for the first time. Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?                                                                                       Pause and think for some minutes… 💭 Did GOD sit the sun down after creating it to explain what is was made to do or that it was expected to rise in the east and set in the west?  Was there a tutor assigned th e responsibility of showing the sun how to rise, how to shine, or to tell the sun the perfect time to set?  or Did the sun require daily reminders to rise in the morning and give warmth and light to the world?  I doubt that..😶 So, if no one taught the sun where to stand in the morning, then how did the sun know where to stand?  Every appliance made or created is wir

We all watched as JDee tried to crawl on his knees some days back. Prior to this, he had been doing a great job crawling on his stomach, but the guy just can't wait to walk... Lol. So he keeps pushing himself.  Lessons: *You will always remain at the same spot doing the same things until you push yourself forward.  *Don't stop at the point or place where others think you should and neither should you stop because of factors like your age or your sex, or the fact that no one has ever done it before.
