Moments with Grace 6 - The Battle for the Human Soul









Hello Fam!!! 

Glad we all made it to the last day of the month of October. On this edition of moments with Grace. She will be shedding more light on “The Battle for the Human Soul”

Did you know that the battles we fight today are more Spiritual than Physical?

The devil has long been fighting God, but we know the end of the story…

In today’s reading, I will like us to look at the text below in the context of Jesus being The Way, The Truth and The Life (John 14:6)

Please have a read:1 Kings 3:16-28 NLT

In the beginning, God had a perfect plan to fellowship with man so when man fell into sin, God in His wisdom, made a divine plan to rescue him from the power of sin and death by sending His son Jesus Christ to reconcile us to himself. What a distinct form of love ever expressed on the earth.

The Bible says “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:6 NLT

God’s love is unfailing, and His mercies are new every morning just like we see in the lives of the prostitutes in the passage above. Jesus came with the gospel of truth as seen in the wisdom of God displayed in the judgement about the true mother of the baby.

Jesus who is the author of life came to give us life; He died so we could live just like the true mother of the living child was willing to let go of her baby so the baby will live. Jesus said “ I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (John 10:10b-11)

The devil on the other hand who is the father of all lies wants us dead.

Remember what the Bible says in John 10:10; the devil is a thief who comes to steal, to kill and to destroy just like the woman who killed her baby and was going for the living baby that wasn’t hers to have the baby killed.

The world view of faith is that all roads lead to God and this is a lie from the devil to lead many souls to death, but the bible says that Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life and no one comes to the father except through him. The battles we are faced with today is between God and the devil. The devil’s motive is to capture our souls and to deprive us from the true life that God intends us to thrive in from the beginning. Remember that the devil has experienced the beauty of heaven and lost it and does not want humanity to experience it either so he can go to any extent to lie to us. (Ezikiel 28:1-24)

Please do not be deceived. Remember what Jesus told his disciples “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life, No one can come to the Father except through me. This cannot be over emphasized.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16)

The following verse says He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Sometimes it’s hard for believers to preach verse 18 of John chapter 3 in order not to offend people. We need to boldly let the world know so they can be snatched from the wrath of God because of their SIN OF UNBELIEF. (The devil will not want people to know this)

Thanks be to our God of wisdom who knows the end from the beginning and has turned what the enemy meant for evil for our good (Romans 8:28).

May we continue to live in the Victory that the battle has been won in Christ Jesus and we have the power to pray God’s kingdom come and His will be done on the earth as it is in heaven.

It's in you, figure it out...

Some days ago, I was singing the song "I know my redeemer lives" by Nicole Mullen. As I sang the first line of the song; "who taught the sun where to stand in the morning..." the words hit me and it felt like I was hearing the words of the line for the first time. Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?                                                                                       Pause and think for some minutes… 💭 Did GOD sit the sun down after creating it to explain what is was made to do or that it was expected to rise in the east and set in the west?  Was there a tutor assigned th e responsibility of showing the sun how to rise, how to shine, or to tell the sun the perfect time to set?  or Did the sun require daily reminders to rise in the morning and give warmth and light to the world?  I doubt that..😶 So, if no one taught the sun where to stand in the morning, then how did the sun know where to stand?  Every appliance made or created is wir

Those baby steps are worth celebrating... Be grateful

We all watched as JDee tried to crawl on his knees some days back. Prior to this, he had been doing a great job crawling on his stomach, but the guy just can't wait to walk... Lol. So he keeps pushing himself.  Lessons: *You will always remain at the same spot doing the same things until you push yourself forward.  *Don't stop at the point or place where others think you should and neither should you stop because of factors like your age or your sex, or the fact that no one has ever done it before.
