Moments with Grace 7 - Hit the Ground Running!

Gloryyyyy!!! We made it to the month of December…God be praised!!!

Let’s head straight to the post of the day. On this post, Grace talks about the need to hit the ground running. Sounds familiar…

***

Over to you Gracey…

Hit the Ground Running!

Do you sometimes have a sense of God calling you or needing your attention?

Let’s journey through these people’s life experiences and how they yielded to Jesus our master.

“One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him. A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too. They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind.” Matthew 4:18-22

Disciple making is an instruction from our Savior, Jesus Christ, given to us right before He ascended to be with God the Father.

“Jesus drew near and said to them, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

In the days of old, when he called his disciples, they willingly followed Him and He empowered them to do mighty works for His glory:

“He said to them, “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues; if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people, and these will get well.” Mark 16:15-18

God wants to use you the same way He used His disciples in the past. All He expects of us is simple obedience. Please do not delay; Just say yes to the Lord.

As we get into the month of December where we celebrate the birth of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, please remember to tell someone about Jesus’ love for him or her.

Merry Christmas!!!

With Love

Grace
