Kudos to you Mum!



When I see kids and all they do
I tend to picture who I was 
and what I did as a kid
Men....I give kudos to my mum
How did you cope with 6 of us?
And for mothers that have more than 6 Children
My oh my, they deserve an award!!!

 Well Mum, this is for you

 Really mum..
I don't know how you did it
I don't know how you successfully brought us up
I can't imagine the stress you must have gone through
The sleepless nights we put you through
The needless shouts and screams you had to embark on, just so we didn't get hurt

 We will never be able to recall the number of times you had to clean us up, the house and all the mess we must have created.

 How on earth did you cope with the little selfish-me, who was only concerned about me and myself?

 Keeping you awake at night, crying all the time, though with a genuine reason sometimes and getting myself stained with every change of cloth

 I'm also wondering how many times and how many nights you stayed by my bedside or when I had to be at the hospital?

 I don't how???
GOD surely graced you for this assignment

 I'm grateful you did all you could and much more
I'm grateful you loved me through it all
I'm grateful that GOD has blessed me with the privilege of being your daughter
I'm grateful you will always be my mum no matter how long and no matter how old you get

 GOD BLESS YOU MUM!!!

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. I walked to the counter when it was my turn to submit my documents. The lady I met, looked at me, and asked: “when are you to travel?” I replied “Sunday”. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with. Those were the days I had relied heavily on my big sister in order to dress stylishly. To me, she could do no wrong; she was the “koko”. Now I’m not saying she wasn’t (she still is) all that, but I came to realize on time that I couldn’t run to my sister every time I had to baff up. I had to come to terms with the fact that I was my own person and I needed to develop my own style. It wasn’t instant success o and yes, I am still perfecting the art (it’s a process).
