"Baba Ola" as we fondly called you
There was never a dull moment with you daddy
You always had something of worth to say
Not only were your words timely, they always lifted my spirit
I thank GOD I was privileged to be your daughter *smiles*
It was an awesome experience while it lasted
I salute your tireless love and care
I look at myself and my siblings; indeed you did your very best with us, you gave us the best, trained and mentored us with the whole of your heart
I appreciate the fact that you gave us the best all round
You were a great father

 I remember cutting your nails
I also recall the evening drives round the city
The pet name which you called me still rings in my ears
You were never late for any event
And you always stayed in the house minding your business...lol
And how can I forget.....no matter what you ate, you always left some for us
You plate was never empty after you've had a meal
Even though we had ours
I cherish the moments we had
The lessons, the practical examples, the counsel, the pieces of advice, the prophecies, the blessings, the pronouncements and discipline are all part of the tools GOD used in shaping my life
You were an outstanding mentor in every way
Yours is a life to be celebrated
You came, you lived and impacted so many
Your life was an open book
With lots of examples to learn from
You never lived for yourself alone
But were more concerned of others
You were a father like no other
A great man you were daddy
You always had this to say ;
"Never grumble,
Never complain
Never murmur
But be thankful"
These words have shaped my life
And I will keep running with them

 I will miss the Sunday calls
I always looked forward to them because your declarations equipped me for the week
I'm glad I have some of them written down
I will keep running with them

 We know you are in a better place
I doubt if you miss us...lol
Cos Heaven satisfies all your needs
Plus you will be busy worshipping your maker

 We miss you plenty
You might no longer be here on earth but I'm most delighted that it doesn't end this way
We still have an eternity ahead of us to spend together at the feet of the Master
I look forward to the moment where we will all be worshipping the Father together

 You are certainly being missed

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. I walked to the counter when it was my turn to submit my documents. The lady I met, looked at me, and asked: “when are you to travel?” I replied “Sunday”. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with. Those were the days I had relied heavily on my big sister in order to dress stylishly. To me, she could do no wrong; she was the “koko”. Now I’m not saying she wasn’t (she still is) all that, but I came to realize on time that I couldn’t run to my sister every time I had to baff up. I had to come to terms with the fact that I was my own person and I needed to develop my own style. It wasn’t instant success o and yes, I am still perfecting the art (it’s a process). I did make 1 or 2 flops (ok maybe 3….ok ok…more than 3), but this issue of style became effortless when I decided to try the “inside-out” approach…
