The Hawker

 











There was slight traffic on my way to work yesterday morning, and as the car I was in drove on, my attention was drawn to a hawker on the street. Someone had motioned to him from one of the cars to bring his wares but as he approached the car, the car began to move. I watched as the guy ran and ran after the car just so he could get to the car and have his wares sold. When I say he ran, I mean he did so for minutes. Sadly, he didn’t catch up with the car. 

I felt sad for him....cos he was trying to make ends meet but that didn’t change the fact that life doesn’t make things easy sometimes.

One thing I have learnt over time is that, what you desire doesn’t always fall on your laps or wait at your door steps in the morning....you have to move...and moving doesn’t guarantee that you will eventually get it, only the mercy of GOD does. 

Indeed success comes from GOD
No matter the amount of time, effort and hard work you put in to get something done or produce something "You can’t exclude the GOD-factor"
His breathe, His direction (guidance), His help and His mercy are key
....His breathe because it gives life and beauty to your ideas, products and wares
....His direction because only GOD leads you to the RIGHT person or client and at the RIGHT time
.....His help because even when you find the right client at the right time, you need a way into their hearts. GOD’s help gives favour; grants speed and open the right doors for you
....His Mercy because it gives you more than what you truly deserve

 Bank on His Mercy.....It endures FOREVER!

Hello People, The first half of the year ends in few hours 💃 I look back and all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS! The first day of the year came with the promise of a travel gift from GOD. It was so clear, and I held onto it. Fast forward to the month of February, an opportunity presented itself but the timing was short and it looked impossible cos getting a visa in that short period seemed close to impossible. I almost let it go but I was encouraged by some friends to give it a try. As I mustered the strength to, I remembered what GOD had promised, so I equipped myself with it, booked an appointment and went to the embassy, the Wednesday before the due date for my trip. SEE YOURSELF THROUGH HIS EYES…. …She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above Rubies or Pearls! “Why do you always walk with your head down?” I paused and considered. This was a question someone asked me some years ago… the only answer I could muster was a sheepish smile. The truth is, back then; I was suffering from what most people battle with. Those were the days I had relied heavily on my big sister in order to dress stylishly. To me, she could do no wrong; she was the “koko”.
