On my way to work this morning, I heard a disheartening statement over the air. Two people were engaged in a conversation that focused on the issue of being a baby papa or baby mama and all what not.That wasn’t even the crux of the matter. As the conversation went on, one of the speakers was wishing someone she knew won’t end up being a baby papa and was hoping that he will marry first. The other party replied saying, it wasn’t compulsory to get married first before having a child, what matters most is ‘ to do whatever makes you happy . *eyes-popped-out*  Do whatever makes you happy ....For real where did that come from?  Do whatever pleases you, even if it doesn’t please GOD. Well, not everyone knows GOD right, but even for a person who is yet to acknowledge GOD, imagine them doing whatever makes them happy even if it is not sensible or morally right.   There was slight traffic on my way to work yesterday morning, and as the car I was in drove on, my attention was drawn to a hawker on the street. Someone had motioned to him from one of the cars to bring his wares but as he approached the car, the car began to move. I watched as th e guy ran and ran after the car just so he could get to the car and have his wares sold. When I say he ran, I mean he did so for minutes. Sadly, he didn’t catch up with the car.  I felt sad for him....cos he was trying to make ends meet but that didn’t change the fact that life doesn’t make things easy sometimes. One thing I have learnt over time is that, what you desire doesn’t always fall on your laps or wait at your door steps in the morning....you have to move...and moving doesn’t guarantee that you will eventually get it, only the mercy of GOD does.  Indeed success comes from GOD No matter the amount of time, effort and hard work you put in to get something done or produ...

I was dazed by this amazing young lady, Gift Obetta. Her write up was the best at the event "Raising Timothy" organized by Mrs. Toyin Adeyemo @toeying_tystitches. I stood in amazement as she read out her write up with so much confidence and an obvious understanding that she knows that she indeed is a Gift to her world. This is what Gift had to say.....
